Community Care is the Medicine of This Time

We are living in perilous times, where many forces are trying to sow division among us, a time when we may distrust our neighbors and don’t know where to turn for support. Words, which have been such a constant companion in my own life, feel far away–I don’t know how to hold everything that has been arising. A little over a year ago, we watched as parts of Los Angeles burned, as people lost homes and dreams because a small group of people are profiting from the destruction of our planet. And then there was the political climate of 2025, which created its own kind of inferno. We are watching the political environment get more and more violent and dangerous around the world. We are fractured and forgetting our humanity. And there is SO much untended grief about the ways that our world is breaking down.

In an effort to offer something into this fragmented world, if ever so imperfectly, I want to tell you about two offerings that I am making during 2026.

From June through October 2026, on the last Sundays of the month, I am hosting community grief circles from 2-4 p.m.
These circles will offer space for anyone who is holding grief (and who among us isn’t?!) to bring it to a ritual where everything that you are holding is welcome. We will come together as human beings with hearts that beat and ache to share something of our experiences, while being graciously and generously held by the land. We will practice being together in our vulnerability. We will tend to each other through deep listening and offer sanctuary for the parts of ourselves that feel alone in all of this chaos.

Dates of practice: June 28, July 26, August 30, September 27, and October 25.

*I am not a therapist, but I have been witnessing and holding space for grief for many years, and the plant spirits have told me that it is my work to help heal people’s hearts. I believe in their call, and I feel called to share their medicine and the magic of the land with you.

These circles are free and open to anyone who needs the space. Please email me at deliciousginger at gmail dot com for more details about this offering. RSVP is required to attend. These circles will take place outside on the land.

Herbal Support for Frayed Nervous Systems

Whew, it’s been a time! We are all in need of some support. I am offering support for those who are doing direct actions to protect what is vulnerable in our world right now. Your nervous system is part of the mycelium of this planet. We are constantly responding to the stimuli that we receive, which is A LOT right now. We can all function better with help from the plants.
I am offering low cost sessions ($30) to help create access to herbal medicine. We’ll meet over zoom for 15-20 minutes to discuss what’s going on for you and then I’ll formulate a tea to support you. If this sounds like something that could help, please email me at deliciousginger at gmail dot come and we’ll get something on the books!

The message that is coming through loud and clear right now is that we cannot survive without each other. Maybe you too are feeling this call? Let’s connect and find ways to create ease and support in a time of struggle.
